How do you remove the black oxide finish from knives?

i have a becker bk2 Companion(carbon steel) and the black oxide finish is wearing off ive tryed using sandpaper but that just takes a tremendous amount of time and i cant get into the small corners near the handle i was wondering if there is a solution i could make or buy that i could place the knife in that would remove the black oxide finish without damaging the carbon steel?
