I need some Techie help, thanks?

I have the z-5500 logitech speakers which have optical and coax input ability and I'm buying the Asus Xonar Essence Stx (I don't understand the spdif out put it's telling me so look it up if need further technical detail), it says it has Coaxil/to slink combo. Does that mean I can hook this pci-e sound card to my z-5500 coax/optical input speaker system?
