Is migraine headache self induced?

Since I have suffered 7 years severe migraine headaches where I could not function and wound up in bed for a 7 hour or longer sleep.....and found out that people did not believe that this tremendous pain is self induced...I will not reveal the secret of how to eliminate that suffering.....
